Itinerary

Drive through Pabbar Valley and apple orchards to Janglik village. Stay in a traditional wooden homestay and explore local village life.

Ascend through dense oak and pine forests until the trees give way to the expansive golden-green Dayara Thachh meadows. Camp under the stars.

Walk across undulating grasslands and small stream crossings to Litham. Enjoy dramatic views of the Pabbar River confluence and glacier.

Steep ascent to the sacred Chandernahan glacial lakes. Reach the Fifth Lake for acclimatization and return to Litham campsite.

Ascend into the rugged alpine landscape of Dhunda at the base of Buran Pass. Receive safety briefings on snow-wall navigation.

Tackle the summit push and rappel down the vertical snow wall on the Kinnaur side. Descend into Barua village through orchards.

"Honestly, Zanskar felt like another world! Standing in front of Gombo Rangzan and doing the hike to Phuktal Monastery were absolute highlights. The roads are rugged, but our trip lead and drivers handled everything so smoothly. Warm homestays, great food, and amazing group vibes throughout. Truly grateful to the Awara Banjara team!"
