Itinerary
- Report at the designated boarding point in Delhi (typically Majnu Ka Tila or Kashmiri Gate) by evening (approx. 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM). Board your Volvo / AC Semi-Sleeper bus towards Manali.
- Enjoy a scenic overnight drive through the plains of Haryana and Punjab, ascending into the foothills of Himachal Pradesh by early morning.
- Arrive in Manali early morning where our representative will meet you. Board your private/group transfer vehicle (Tempo Traveller / SUV depending on group size).
- Drive through the world-famous Atal Tunnel, an engineering masterpiece piercing through the Pir Panjal range at 10,000+ feet, connecting Kullu valley to Lahaul valley.
- Stop at Sissu to witness the magnificent cascading waterfall and lush green poplars. Drive past Keylong, the administrative headquarters of Lahaul & Spiti.
- Reach Jispa by late afternoon. Check into your hotel/campsite amidst towering mountains along the Bhaga River. Enjoy a peaceful bonfire evening, dinner, and overnight stay in Jispa.
- Early morning departure from Jispa towards the dramatic landscapes of Zanskar border via Darcha.
- Drive up to Shinku La Pass (approx. 16,500+ ft), a high-altitude mountain pass offering breathtaking panoramic views of snow-clad Himalayan giants and glaciers.
- Proceed further into the valley to catch a stunning view of Gonbo Rangjon, the sacred and towering freestanding rock tower standing proudly against the barren Zanskar backdrop.
- After soaking in the raw Himalayan wilderness, begin your return journey retracing the route through Lahaul, crossing Atal Tunnel, and arriving in Manali by evening.
- Visit the historic Hidimba Devi Temple nestled inside the dense Dhungri Van Vihar cedar forest, famous for its unique pagoda architecture.
