- Leaving the Plains Behind — Board your overnight transit vehicle (Volvo/Tempo Traveller) from Delhi, leaving the bustling urban plains behind.
- Sit back, relax, and transition into the rhythm of the mountains as the overnight drive winds upward into the scenic Himalayan foothills, setting the stage for the raw, snow-draped winter wilderness awaiting you in Spiti with Awara Banjara.
- Entering Kinnaur's Frozen Lap — Arrive in Shimla early in the morning to meet your expedition captain and crew.
- Transition into comfortable 4x4 vehicles specially geared to handle challenging winter terrain and black-ice conditions.
- Embark on a dramatic drive through the Kinnaur region, tracing the roaring Sutlej River before climbing into the breathtaking Sangla Valley.
