Itinerary

Gather at the designated pickup point in Delhi by evening and meet your fellow banjaras. Board the comfortable AC Volvo as we leave behind the chaotic city buzz and roll towards the misty pine forests of Himachal. Feel the night breeze turn crisp and mountain-fresh as conversations start flowing. Overnight journey on the winding Himalayan roads under starlit skies.

Wake up to the roaring Beas River and dramatic valley views as we pull into Manali. Check-in to our cozy stay, freshen up, and take in the slow mountain rhythm. Later, set out on a scenic walk through the apple orchards up to the roaring Jogini Waterfall, followed by a soulful visit to the age-old Hadimba Devi Temple wrapped in giant cedar trees. As dusk settles, stroll down Mall Road and spend the evening soaking in the bohemian energy of Old Manali cafes with warm chai and live acoustic tunes. Overnight stay in Manali.

Fuel up with a hearty breakfast and gear up for an unforgettable high-altitude drive. We cross the engineering marvel, Atal Tunnel, transitioning from lush green slopes into the raw, dramatic, snow-draped landscapes of Lahaul Valley. Explore the majestic Sissu Waterfall and soak in the raw nomadic silence of the mountains. On our way back, stop by Solang Valley for panoramic views and thrilling snow vibes before returning to Manali for a warm, community dinner. Overnight stay in Manali.

Bid farewell to Manali and hit the road towards Kullu. For the thrill-seekers, charge your adrenaline with white-water rafting in the icy Beas or soar high in the skies with paragliding (own expense). By afternoon, the valley shifts colors as we enter the mystic, pine-scented corridor of Kasol. Check-in to our riverside stay, sit by the gushing Parvati River, hop through aesthetic Israeli cafes, and gather around a cozy bonfire under the starry night sky with acoustic jams and stories. Overnight stay in Kasol/Parvati Valley.

Start the day with peaceful vibes by visiting the revered Manikaran Sahib Gurudwara and dip your feet in the naturally therapeutic hot sulfur springs. Later, take a serene walk along the iconic suspension bridge to Chalal village—breathing in the damp pine scent and exploring hidden graffiti cafes. Pick up dreamcatchers, boho woolens, and raw souvenirs from Kasol market. By evening, gather your backpacks with a heavy heart and board your return Volvo from Bhuntar/Kasol back to Delhi.

Reach Delhi early in the morning. Say goodbye to your mountain tribe with a camera roll full of aesthetic memories, tired legs, and a refreshed nomadic soul until the next adventure calls.

"Honestly, Zanskar felt like another world! Standing in front of Gombo Rangzan and doing the hike to Phuktal Monastery were absolute highlights. The roads are rugged, but our trip lead and drivers handled everything so smoothly. Warm homestays, great food, and amazing group vibes throughout. Truly grateful to the Awara Banjara team!"
